for the most part uptown stays uptown. downtown stays downtown. midtown goes downtown a lot (especially the “richer” neighborhoods downtown). and downtown takes very few cabs compared to the midtown/uptown crowd (even “rich” neighborhoods like tribeca, soho, findist, west vil)
